The remarkable new Nautilus Temperature Sensing Coils (TSC) is the result of a strategic alliance between Aspire and Vapor Shark. These revolutionary coils are made with Nickel (Ni-200) wire as opposed to the Kanthal resistance wires used in the standard Aspire Nautilus and Nautilus Mini coils.
Ni-200 alloy is used predominantly for its high electric and thermal conductivity. Due to these remarkable and unique properties, the Nautilus Nickel Coils can be used with a temperature limiting and sensing devices, such as the Vapor Shark rDNA 40, which affords the ability to regulate the temperature of the coils themselves.
The Nautilus Temperature Sensing Coils are designed with a resistance of 0.3 ohms, allowing for high wattage and massive vapor production. In order to help decipher between the TSC coils and the standard Nautilus coils, the Temperature Sensing coils are furnished with blue silicone O-rings rather than clear ones.
