The Doge v2 Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer is a substantially improved version of the outrageously popular Doge RDA. This improvement is quite a feat, as the original version was itself a masterfully engineered device that deserved the enormous amount of praise it received.
The Doge RDA begins with a foundation made of high-grade 302 stainless steel. 302 stainless steel is a non-magnetic, austenitic metal that is exceptionally solid and durable. This specific version of heat-resistant stainless steel was chosen over 304 stainless steel due to its higher carbon content. It was also selected over 301 steel, as 304 stainless steel, as its higher nickel content makes it more resistant to corrosion.
Congrevape designed the Doge v2’s deck with a tri-post setup. The negative stainless steel posts are milled directly into the RDA’s deep 5mm juice well, making it extremely solid. The keyed 3mm positive post is constructed with C110 copper, which is an exceedingly conductive metal. As a 99.9% pure copper alloy, C100 copper has an electrical conductivity rating of 100% IACS. Also referred to as Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper, C100 copper is widely used for its anti-corrosion properties. However, for those who prefer stainless steel posts, Congrevape brilliantly included a separate stainless steel positive post that can be substituted for the copper one. Each of the posts is furnished with over-sized copper screws coupled with 3mm holes, perfect for large gauge wires. Moreover, the Doge v2 RDA can accommodate single, dual, and quad-coil builds, making it a very versatile device.
The Doge v2 Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer’s outer barrel is equipped with dual adjustable airflow slots that are 11mm x 2.5mm in size. Congrevape intelligently designed the top cap with a smaller individual air hole, perfect for single-coil builds. The Doge v2 RDA’s top cap is highlighted by Congrevape’s patented 1mm air injection hole, which is located above the outer barrel. This helps to substantially cool the vapor while simultaneously increasing expansion. The air injection hole also serves to provide massive vapor clouds with less power, as well as helping to produce superior flavor production. The Doge v2’s top cap is also armed with Ketron Polyetheretherketone (Peek) insulation, protecting it from thermal degradation. Peek insulation is known for its resistance to high temperatures, which is especially important for sub-ohm vaping.
